Canelo (42-0-1, 30 KOs) is the current WBC and WBA light middleweight (154 lbs) champion, having defeated Austin Trout in Austin, TX this past April. The 22-year-old went on record as saying that he wouldn't fight Floyd at welterweight, so presumably Mayweather will move up to 154 lbs for the 3rd time in his career. Mayweather's other fights at light middleweight were wins against Miguel Cotto and Oscar De La Hoya, the latter standing as the largest selling PPV of all-time.
